Bill Sefton

Bill is outgoing, positive, cheerful, sometimes overly friendly personality definitely does not fit the stereotype of CPAs and accountants who have earned their Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Masters in Accounting degrees as Bill has.  This personality disconnect often surprises some.   

College Planning:  Bill served on Willamette University's Alumni Board for 11 years and learned about College Planning 'from the inside' helping several students attend Willamette who thought they couldn't afford Willamette.

Bill's favorite memory:   A young waiter stopped cold-turkey when he saw Bill's Willamette University Jersey and said he wanted to go there; but, couldn't.  Bill, serving on Willamette's Alumni Board, offered to help.  A few months later, he entered Willamette and money was no longer an issue.  What did Bill do:  What any 'match-maker' would do:  Listen to what Admissions wanted in their ideal student; and, listening to what the applicant had to offer - not in money:  Their talents, maturity, integrity, academic history and scores.  In other words, what separates this student from the 100s of other students applying to Willamette.

Another situation is particularly memorable:  A high school student had given up - his father was dying - and his future looked grim.  Armed with the basic details, Bill had Willamette's Dean of Admissions write a personal invitation to the boy and his mother reported that her son's attitude towards his future turned positive once again.  Bill loves to encourage and find ways when the possibility seems dire.

Bill is a big believer in personal and business systems that make us more efficient with our time and resources; and, he relishes in leveraging his time and existing resources into laptop based business opportunities.  The lower the cost of entry the greater the ROI (Return On Investment).
